Shannon is a content creator who has been creating dog content for over 6 years. When Luna joined her family, she started a blog to share dog care and DIYs, and it grew into 70+ homemade treat recipes. With over 60K monthly visitors, she helps dog parents go from only buying store-bought treats to making their own, so they know exactly what’s in them. Shannon lives in North Dakota with her family, Luna (her German Shepherd Dog), and two cats, and can be found cuddling with her cats or making more treats for Luna. (Morgan is mentioned below and in the cookbook. She has since passed away, but was an integral part of taste-testing while she was with us.) Luna is the official taste-tester of all new recipes made. When she isn’t taste-testing treats, she can be found sleeping near Shannon or playing in the backyard.

Questions:
Q: Which should I get, the ebook or the paperback? That depends on whether you prefer to use a tablet/ereader when cooking or have a physical copy of the recipe in a book. Both have the same recipes with full-color photos. Q: Do I need any special equipment?
All the recipes can be made with standard kitchen equipment. Many of the recipes use a blender or food processor (either will work for those recipes). Q: Are the recipes hard? The majority of the recipes are easy to make. There are a couple of baked recipes that take a few more steps and work than the rest of the recipes. Q: Are these suitable for every dog? These treats are suitable for most dogs. But check with your veterinarian if you have any concerns about a treat or ingredient for your dog, especially if they have any health concerns or allergies.
